Nephilim Halls Productions is proud to present the 2nd Annual International EBM Day celebration in Hawaii! This night features straight-up old-school industrial music from the pioneer bands like Front 242, Einstürzende Neubauten, Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle, Skinny Puppy, Laibach, Klinik, SPK and more, who helped shape the beginnings of the genre.

The term “industrial music” was coined in the mid-1970s with the founding of Industrial Records by Genesis P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle and Monte Cazazza; on Throbbing Gristle’s debut album, The Second Annual Report, they coined the slogan “industrial music for industrial people”.

AllMusic defines industrial as the “most abrasive and aggressive fusion of rock and electronic music;” “initially a blend of avant-garde electronics experiments (tape music, musique concrète, white noise, synthesizers, sequencers, etc.) and punk provocation.”

On this special night, we acknowledge our roots with essential classic industrial sets by three of Honolulu’s veteran dark DJs:

DJ Dat-Mot
DJ Sniper Wells
and
DJ Du Nord (Craig Willers)

with an opening set by Nephilim Halls Productions resident DJ Dark Cloud

When: Friday, February 24 from 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Where: NextDoor, 43 N. Hotel Street @ the loft upstairs
Cost: $5 at the door
21+ are welcome.

With music giveaways from industrial music label Skyqode, a fast-growing label established in 2012 to promote new artists in the Synthpop, Electronic Dance, and Industrial genres.

Nephilim Halls Productions, in collaboration with Bloodfire Hawaii Productions and Jody Rose Presents, are proud to announce the Third Annual Hell Night, a night that will bring all your darkest, most devilish dreams to life, on Saturday, January 28, from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at Anna O’Brien’s. Cover is $10, ages 21 and over welcome.

In a nod to the legendary Hell Nights of San Francisco, New York and other mainland cities that were so popular among the darker subcultures back in the day, Honolulu’s own Hell Night is a haven for all those who love Halloween, the diabolical and macabre, classic horror movies and dark alternative music.

DJs Dat Mot, Azy, Nightfox and Jody Rose will set the stage with classic goth, deathrock and dark alternative music.

This year, don’t miss a set by special guests Bone Canyon, Honolulu’s own fierce, female-fronted metal band!

With big riffs driven by a whirlwind of hair and sweat, Honolulu’s Bone Canyon proves that living in paradise does not dull the intensity of their modern metal sound.

Formed in late 2012, Bone Canyon is vocalist Venus Trombley, guitarist/vocalist Ray Kan, bassist Mike Yeung, and drummer Caitlin Bunner. Fueled by a common love of rock and metal, the band’s sound is heavy, challenging, and accessible, combining the aggression of Thrash, the groove of Stoner, and the experimentation of Progressive Metal.

In between song writing and recording, Bone Canyon has played shows at several Oahu music venues including Republik, where they opened for metal giants Mastodon, Crossroads at Hawaiian Brian’s, Station Bar, Rock Bottom, Kemo’o Farms, Rivals, and Kualoa Ranch. In 2015, they toured the Pacific Northwest, with shows in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.

Dark/fetish/hellish/devilish or horror attire recommended.

DJ NOCTURNA & LANA SALDANIA present the 6th ANNUAL MISS VAMP HAWAII BEAUTY PAGEANT

Date: Sunday, October 23, 2016
ShowTime: 7pm ; doors open at 6pm
Place: Hawaii Theatre (1130 Bethel Street, Honolulu, Hi)
(ALL AGES WELCOME)
www.hawaiitheatre.com
FOR TICKETS: Go the Hawaii Theatre Box Office or charge by phone: 808 528-0506.

Miss Vamp Hawaii resembles a normal beauty pageant – if you consider vampires, moonlight, foggy graveyards and the occasional werewolf normal. This pageant with a darker edge celebrates contestants’ creative, unique sides.

This year, 10 amazing ladies will take the stage in a theatrical production at the historic Hawaii Theatre in Chinatown. Expect singing, dancing, dramatic effects, and more than a few surprises, as the beautiful vampiresses answer questions, show off their talents, strut their best wardrobe choices and generally try to wow the judges!

Miss Vamp Hawaii was created in 2010 and is a yearly production held in October to honor the beautiful, creative and unique women living in Hawaii. Similar to other pageants, it features the traditional Q&A, a gown/costume competition, crowning the winners with sashes, trophies and prizes. Unique to this pageant, however, is the “Moonlight Bathing Lingerie Competition,” that honors the moon.

Vampires are a symbol of timelessness, a passion that never dies. Age and growing older should never be a factor to hinder growth, development and dreams. Miss Vamp Hawaii is open to all women starting from 18 years of age, regardless of body type, weight, height or age. It celebrates women from all walks of life, cultures, various backgrounds, nationalities and interest.

See you there!
